Modified on Sat, Sep 27 at 2:53 PM

This article serves as an advisory as well as providing workarounds for the problem.

MacOS Tahoe (MacOS version 26) isn't compatible with Webinato Desktop Application for MacOS (download link). We are working deliberately on a fix for this.

What Can I Do?

  1. Do not update to the latest macOS for the time being. If you have already upgraded,
  2. You can downgrade the update manually. See this guide (click here)
  3. Use VMWare Fusion to install a virtual machine that runs Windows 11 (see the guide is below).

Using VMware Fusion

VMware Fusion is Free to use. Windows 11 offers a trial version that can extend.
  1. Download VMware Fusion here (click here) - You may need to create a Broadcom account first
  2. Follow the guide here (click here)
  3. Install Webinato for Windows by following the Installing the Webinato Application on Windows
  4. Once it is installed, you can use it just like how you were using Webinato on macOS.
